Spike TV
There is even a $10 million prize.
Spike TV threw together big game hunters, dedicated Big Foot aficionados called “squatchers” and animal-loving pro photographers. The new eight-week reality show is called 10 Million Dollar Big Foot Bounty.
New York University’s Todd Disotell signed on to be the show’s lead scientist. He says he taught contestants to properly collect DNA samples.
“To see all these people, some of whom are rough mountain men and women kind of people, following these very strict protocols was great,” says Disotell.
The show’s producers filmed for about a month near Goldendale, Washington in Gifford Pinchot National Forest and at Brooks Memorial State Park, along with parts of northern California.
BUT! Remember folks, and I speak from experience. IT'S TV.... and you will see hype, drama, and questionable photos, and footage.
WHY? Because it sells! Sponsors anyone?
If its on TV and has REALITY tied to it...... not so much. This coming from a guy whose dealt with several networks behind the scenes, and walked away from numerous shows.
That being said, and the fact I love me a good Bigfoot Story {strictly for entertainment value} I will check it out and report here what I think of the show.
