Woman kills 'Possessed' daughter with crucifix

OKLAHOMA CITY —An Oklahoma City woman told investigators she killed her daughter while trying to remove Satan from her body.

Police said they found 33-year-old Geneva Gomez dead in the 1500 block of N. McKinley Saturday afternoon. According to the police affidavit, Juanita Gomez said her daughter Geneva was possessed by the devil. According to investigators, Geneva was found laying with a large cross/crucifix on her chest.

Juanita told investigators that she had been possessed by the devil last week and that she punched Geneva repeatedly. She told investigators that she forced a crucifix and religious medallion down Geneva's throat until blood came out of her daughter's mouth.

According to court documents, Juanita saw her daughter die and placed her body in the shape of a cross.

Juanita had swollen hands and large bruises on her arms, according to investigators. She told them it was because Geneva was fighting Juanita's attempts to rid Satan from Geneva's body.

Juanita faces a complaint of first-degree murder.

Woman dies during exorcism

Police in Pakistan have launched a murder investigation after a young woman was reportedly beaten to death during an exorcism to “exorcise demons” from her.

The Report said the 24-year-old woman from Lahore, had been suffering from undiagnosed problems for some time and that her family had taken her to several doctors.

Her condition had not improved and so her family decided to take her to a local Pir, a Pir is a Muslim saint or holy man, who they believed could confront “the demons tormenting her”.

Police told the media that the young woman’s cousin, had taken her to the healer, identified as Pir Afzal. . During his so-called treatment, the Pir is alleged to have tied her up with ropes and began to beat her.

“When the young woman started screaming in pain, her cousin tried to stop him but the Pir told him that the blows were not hurting her,” a neighbor told the local newspaper.

At that point, the young woman fainted and efforts to revive her failed. The Pir then told the cousin to take her to hospital, where she subsequently died.

Police have reportedly arrested the cousin of the young woman and are looking for the pir.

Want to be an Exorcist? Exorcism course 'open to priests and housewives'

Organized by the Pontifical Athenaeum Apostolorum, an educational institute of the Catholic Church in Rome, the course, aims to “raise awareness of the devil’s existence and the possibility for possession”, rather than stir up paranoia, Father Cesare Truqui, a top exorcist, recently told Vatican Radio.

“Having this knowledge helps to establish a balance. We understand that it [the devil’s possession] happens rarely, but when it does, its influence can be fought with God and by prayer and devotion.”

He added that the event, which wraps up on Saturday, is open to all, “even housewives”.

“A priest exorcist is usually accompanied by a number of laypeople, who assist him in carrying out his mission…either psychologists or doctors, but also normal people like professionals or housewives.”

The assistants play an important role in establishing whether a person is possessed by the devil and then “curing the discerning spirit”, he continued.

A report in La Repubblica late last year said that dioceses across Italy were boosting the number of priests trained in exorcism due to a rise in the number of demonic cases.

Father Franceso Bamonte, the president of the Italy-based International Association of Exorcists, told the newspaper that the rising demand is a result of more people subscribing to occultism, with the 250 or so exorcists in Italy “often unable to handle the enormous number of requests for help”.

9 yr old walks backwards up a wall with credible witness, Real Life Demon Possession or Movie Plot?

A terrified mother claims she watched in horror as her demon-possessed 9-year-old son walked backwards up a wall and ceiling. One would simply dismiss her claims if a child services case worker and a nurse weren’t present to witness it all.
A Real Life Demon Possession Is Being Reported in Indiana – The Details Are Almost Too Horrifying to Believe
(Screengrab via Daily Mail)

Latoya Ammons claims all three of her children showed signs of being possessed, including “evil” smiles and strangely deep voices, the Indianapolis Star reports. The mother says she also witnessed her 12-year-old daughter levitating in their Gary, Ind., home.
Strangely enough, the scary-sounding incident is detailed in official documents. Gary police Capt. Charles Austin told the Star that he is a “believer” after making several visits to the home and interviewing witnesses. His first thought was that the family was making up the elaborate story up as part of a get-rich-quick scheme. Would even make a block buster movie.

Ammons’ home was “exorcized” by a catholic priest over numerous ceremonies that were reportedly authorized by the local Diocese in Gary. The story is apparently so believable that officers with the local police department said they were too scared to stay at the house and some city officials are reported as to no even wanting to step foot on the property.

The 32-year-old mother says the spirits that haunted her family’s house were only vanquished after she moved away and underwent several exorcisms. The unbelievable story has come to light after the Indianapolis Star obtained hundreds of pages of official documents relating to the case.
The Ammons family moved into the rental house on Carolina Street in Gary, Ind., back in November 2011. They soon noticed strange occurrences, including swarms of flies around the house, footsteps in the basement and wet footprints streaking across the living room floor.

But what happened next made those incidents seem pleasant.

In March 2012, Ammons claims she rushed to check on her 12-year-old daughter after hearing her screams. When she entered the bedroom, she says she witnessed her daughter levitating above her bed unconscious.

The family and some of the guests they were hosting prayed over the girl until she returned back to the bed. The girl reportedly didn’t remember anything about it.
The torment reportedly continued and the family wasn’t in a position financially to flee the home. So the family contacted churches and clairvoyants for help, but they received little relief. The clairvoyants allegedly told the family their house was haunted by more than 200 demons.

Ammons claims her childrens’ eyes bulged and they regularly sported evil smiles, effects of their possession. Her youngest child would reportedly sit in a closet and talk to an invisible child that no one could see. She also claims he was once thrown from the bathroom when no one was even near him.

Most of Ammons’ allegations are backed up by her mother, Rosa Campbell, who also lived in the house.
Later in 2012, child protective services in Indiana was contacted to investigate the mother for possible child abuse or mental illness. A psychiatrist reportedly evaluated Ammons and determined she was not mentally ill.

A family case manager reportedly interviewed the family and witnessed a number of strange occurrences. Valerie Washington confirmed that she witnessed the youngest boy growling before his eyes rolled back in his head.

Washington also claimed she saw the 9-year-old boy flash a “weird grin” and then walk backward up a wall to the ceiling. Her account was corroborated by a nurse.

“There’s no way he could’ve done that,” the nurse told the Star.
After being sent to investigate Ammons, Washington concluded that an “evil influence” might be affecting the family.

Now audio has been captured with Non Human Voices from the location.

Maryland women accused of killing children say they saw demons

ROCKVILLE, Md. - Two Maryland women accused of murdering two children they believed were possessed told investigators they saw the children's eyes turn black as evidence that they were being controlled by demons, authorities said on Tuesday.
The women are being held without bond and will undergo psychiatric evaluations to determine their competency to stand trial, Montgomery County State Attorney John McCarthy said at a news briefing.
A 1-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl were discovered dead on Friday in GermantownMaryland, after a neighbor called police. Two other children, an 8-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl, were being treated for stab wounds and were expected to recover.

The mother of all four children, Zakieya Avery, 28, and Monifa Sanford, 21, who lived in the same house, each were charged with two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
According to reports presented in court, the women said they saw "the eyes of each of the children blackening" as "demons entered the bodies of each of the children" and jumped from one child to the other, McCarthy said.
The women recounted that they tried to break each child's neck, then strangled and stabbed them, he said.
At one point, Avery attacked Sanford because she believed a demon had jumped into Sanford from one of the children, he said.
"The actions that they took were intended to drive the demons out of the body of each of these children," he said.
The orders for psychiatric evaluations are based on the women's accounts of what took place as well as their previous mental health issues, McCarthy said.
"The issue of sanity has not been raised yet in this case," he said. "This is merely an issue of competency."
Avery has reportedly been hospitalized for mental health issues, and Sanford told police about suicide attempts.
Police said the women are part of a four-person group calling itself the "Demon Assassins." The other members, two men, are being sought but not believed to be dangerous, police said.

Demonic Possession Reports are on the Rise

Catholic Church is training additional priests to combat problem.

The Catholic Church is quietly preparing for an unparalleled episode of spiritual warfare, training more clergy to meet the inexplicable but steadily increasing demand for exorcisms. Church officials say a rise in materialism and pop obsession with the occult is to blame.

Exorcisms should only be performed by specially trained clergy.
Exorcisms should only be performed by specially trained clergy.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - In the bright and cheery world of "Christianity Lite," many forget that Satan is real and that his tactics are ancient and tested. While many souls fall to the wayside because of secular influences, the number of people reporting possible demonic possessions to the Church is also increasing.

Church officials say that rediscovered obsessions with the occult, such as with Ouija boards, paganism, and Satanism, are causing people to suffer demonic possessions at an unparalleled rate.

Priests can cast out demons by the rite of exorcism, but it requires special training that few priests have. Several dioceses, particularly in Spain and Italy, are sending priests to train for spiritual warfare unlike that seen in ages - if ever.

According to a report in the Telegraph, dioceses in Spain and Italy are training several priests in exorcism in an effort to meet demand. Additionally, the Church hopes to "sideline" unauthorized exorcists by displacing them with officials appointed and trained by the Church.

Many Christians now regard Satan and demonic possession as something of the past, failing at all to recognize the subtle guile of evil. However, it is real, present, and always hungry.

As people stray from God and the Church, and dabble in the occult "for entertainment" they engage evil forces that are beyond their comprehension and belief. With psychologists and doctors sometimes unable to explain or diagnose the conditions in question, since the illness is spiritual, hapless people must turn to the Church for rescue.

This is where specially trained priests come in.

According to the Church, despite the surge in possible demonic possessions, most of the people they encounter suffer from undiagnosed mental conditions. Conditions which can be dangerous if left untreated, but are still treatable. In those cases, where mental illness is suspected, Church officials will tell the individual to seek the care of a licensed medical professional. About only one in a 100 cases will meet the criteria for demonic possession and require an exorcism.

However, there are cases where science and medicine stop - and the powers of Good and Evil begin.

Church officials also warn that there are several self-appointed exorcists, even people who pose as priests, and have not undergone appropriate training to perform the rite of exorcism. The Church is cracking down on this practice by training known, qualified clergy who answer to their bishops for performing the rites.

The clergy selected must be level-headed, and discreet, according to La Repubblica which recently conducted several interviews with involved clergy.

In addition to a rise in the number of demonic possessions occurring in people, there also appears to be a rise in the number of mental illness that people develop. The causes behind this are unknown, but it could have much to do with environmental factors such as diet, pollutants, as well as lifestyle choices which can be popular, but mentally and spiritually unhealthy.

We would do well to remember that Pope Francis warned, "there are those that belong to him" (referring to Satan).

Woman takes her life because she was Possessed by Demons

A WOMAN from Chipinge opted to end her life after she was told that she was possessed by demons that were causing problems in her life. The incident happened last week in Chivhunze Village under Chief Mutema. Chipo Zano (21) committed suicide after she had been informed by an
unknown prophet that she was possessed by demons which were bringing bad luck in her life.

It is alleged that Chipo had been advised by the prophet to ask her father about the demons in order to get assistance.

She allegedly summoned her father, Zano Mupedzanyika (63), who stays in the same village.

Manicaland deputy police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Luxson Chananda said when Chipo approached her father she told him that she had been directed to him by the prophet.

“Chipo told Mupedzanyika that she was being haunted by evil spirits and that she wanted her father to help her since she had been referred to him by the prophet.

“She held her father accountable for her misfortunes and asked him to bare it all,” said Asst Insp Chananda.

He said Mupedzanyika told her that he knew nothing about the demons and that the prophet had referred her to the wrong person.

He also asked her daughter to summon the whole family if she thought he was responsible for the demons that were bringing so much pain in her life.

Chipo kept on nagging her father but she later gave up and disappeared into the bush.

Mupedzanyika thought her daughter had gone back home and after about two hours he was approached by her husband Tapera Simango (29) asking for his wife.

They searched for her and found her sleeping at a nearby river. She told them that she had taken some poison.

They rushed her to Chipinge District Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Man kills his 13 yr old DEMON Possessed son.

Gary Reagan Sherill

PHOENIX -
Police say a 51-year-old man killed his 13-year-old son because he believed he was a demon who was going to eat him.
Officers discovered the boy's body after his mother called the Phoenix Police, saying she couldn't get a hold of her son who was staying with her ex-husband.

When officers entered the home near Bethany Home Road and 10th Street, they found an unimaginable scene -- the young boy was stabbed to death.

The home is now an unthinkable murder scene and police say the father confessed to killing his son with an axe.

According to police, Gary Reagan Sherill believed his son, David Sebastian Sherill, was demon possessed and was going to eat him.

"I'm heartbroken.  I cried a lot last night."

This neighbor didn't want to show her face, but says she noticed strange behavior from the father -- at one point, reporting him to Child Protective Services.

"I know that all the windows were blacked out with tin foil.  I never saw the child playing whenever he was let out of the house.. he had a tight hold on him.  In the beginning, I kind of thought he might be kidnapped," she said.

Several neighbors reported seeing police respond to the home on several occasions leading up to the murder.

The boy's body was discovered New Year's Eve afternoon after his mother called police, saying she couldn't reach her ex-husband or her son.

"The mother of the child was down here and crying and screaming and inconsolable obviously," said Divina West, a neighbor.

Divorce court paperwork reveals very little about the father's mental state, only stating "The father is unemployed and this has likely impacted his mental state.."  According to records, the parents had joint legal custody.
According to court records, Sherill and his ex-wife have had a tumultuous relationship.  In 2005, the ex-wife filed a motion of protection, claiming she feared for her safety and the safety of her two children.  Court documents also show that Sherill had majority custody of David until his ex-wife filed a petition in 2010.
In that petition, she claims Gary could have been using morphine, he was not sending David to school and was not allowing her to see her son.
A few months later, a joint custody agreement was reached.  In that agreement, Gary was to have David on New Year's Day.

"I feel horribly for the mother who I witnessed when they told her the news and heard her gut wrenching scream.. that is just something that will stay with me forever," said a neighbor.

Neighbors also told FOX 10 the father was screaming hysterically when police arrested him and that he was yelling about war.
CPS says there was never any complaint filed about this particular family and therefore, there was no investigation.
Sherill faces first degree murder charges.  He is being held on a million dollar bond and is expected to be back in court next week.
NEIGHBORS OPEN UP ABOUT MURDERED TEEN, CALLING HIM A SWEET, KIND BOY
On Thursday, neighbors lit candles in front of the home where police say the 13-year-old's father murdered him.  Those closest to the family are too distraught to say much about the teen, but said off-camera that David was a sweet, kind boy -- one neighbor told FOX 10 she called him her little buddy.
Many neighbors said they witnessed odd behavior from the father leading up to the murder.
"From what I understand, the father was very possessive and didn't let him get out too far," said West.
Now just feet away from the crime is a memorial to David and a sign reading "Gone but not forgotten."

Police: Pastor Raped Girl to ‘Take the Demons Out’

1387060861
Jacoby Kindred

A 61-year-old Minnesota pastor has been charged with raping two teenaged girls for nearly a decade, the Huffington Post reports.
The man, Jacoby Kindred, pastor of One Accord Ministries, has been accused of sexually abusing the daughters of his son’s girlfriend, according to a criminal complaint obtained by the Pioneer Press, telling one victim that “the devil was inside her and he could take the demons out of her.”
The alleged abuse "involved fondling, oral stimulation, and rape," and took place mostly at Kindred's Maplewood, Minn., home, while the victims, now 14 and 16, stayed over, KARE 11 reports. The abuse is said to have occurred over a decade, the report shows.
Police began investigating Kindred in July after the girls' mother said she discovered a letter written by one of her daughters describing sexual acts with Kindred.
Kindred denied the allegations when reached by phone by the Pioneer Press, charging that the girls' mother forced them to tell "lies" about him because she was angry.
