Review: The Evil Within? More like The Horror Within

Sneaking around, climbing leaders, avoiding chainsaw men, and figuring out death traps?

First off, I would like to say "This is the game we've been waiting for". Godfather of survival horror games "Shinji Mikami" (creator of the Resident Evil series) brings us his latest master piece.

My first 18hrs 25min 32secs play through on survival mode was insanely challenging, fun, and scary!

The game starts out with Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners, Joseph Oda and Julie Kidman arrive at a gruseome crime scene at a mental asylum. Sebastian, and Joseph investigates and see everyone in the asylum were massacred. They check things out in the camera room. Sebastian see's a mysterious figure slashing 3 police officers just a few moments before he, and his team arrived. Sebastian turns around, and the figure that was on the computer screen, is now behind him, then attacks him. Sebastian wakes up tied upside down in a meat locker filled with other corpse. Sebastian escapes, and fight through the world of evil, in the search of his friends.

Pros and Cons.

I have to admit this game does have one con.

The only problem I had with The Evil Within, was the bugs. The game just came out on Tuesday 10/14/14. Bugs were expected. I really didn't have that many issues with the game. I spent 3 days playing it, all day, and ending the session at 3 o'clock in the morning. The game is gory, but it doesn't over do it. There will be times that you have to run, because the enemies are unbeatable.

The things I enjoyed most about this game, was the game play, story, and the difficulty. The game play is a mixture of The Last Of Us, and Resident Evil 4. You're left with very little ammo at times, you have to use stealth instead. The story is amazing, you will be craving to play the next chapter, just to that happens next!

RATE?

I give The Evil Within,

-Amazing game play
-Amazing story
-Keeps you on the edge at all times
-Horror is perfect
-Perfect puzzles, and traps

Like I said earlier there are bugs, but will be fixed soon.

Man kills his 13 yr old DEMON Possessed son.

Gary Reagan Sherill

PHOENIX -
Police say a 51-year-old man killed his 13-year-old son because he believed he was a demon who was going to eat him.
Officers discovered the boy's body after his mother called the Phoenix Police, saying she couldn't get a hold of her son who was staying with her ex-husband.

When officers entered the home near Bethany Home Road and 10th Street, they found an unimaginable scene -- the young boy was stabbed to death.

The home is now an unthinkable murder scene and police say the father confessed to killing his son with an axe.

According to police, Gary Reagan Sherill believed his son, David Sebastian Sherill, was demon possessed and was going to eat him.

"I'm heartbroken.  I cried a lot last night."

This neighbor didn't want to show her face, but says she noticed strange behavior from the father -- at one point, reporting him to Child Protective Services.

"I know that all the windows were blacked out with tin foil.  I never saw the child playing whenever he was let out of the house.. he had a tight hold on him.  In the beginning, I kind of thought he might be kidnapped," she said.

Several neighbors reported seeing police respond to the home on several occasions leading up to the murder.

The boy's body was discovered New Year's Eve afternoon after his mother called police, saying she couldn't reach her ex-husband or her son.

"The mother of the child was down here and crying and screaming and inconsolable obviously," said Divina West, a neighbor.

Divorce court paperwork reveals very little about the father's mental state, only stating "The father is unemployed and this has likely impacted his mental state.."  According to records, the parents had joint legal custody.
According to court records, Sherill and his ex-wife have had a tumultuous relationship.  In 2005, the ex-wife filed a motion of protection, claiming she feared for her safety and the safety of her two children.  Court documents also show that Sherill had majority custody of David until his ex-wife filed a petition in 2010.
In that petition, she claims Gary could have been using morphine, he was not sending David to school and was not allowing her to see her son.
A few months later, a joint custody agreement was reached.  In that agreement, Gary was to have David on New Year's Day.

"I feel horribly for the mother who I witnessed when they told her the news and heard her gut wrenching scream.. that is just something that will stay with me forever," said a neighbor.

Neighbors also told FOX 10 the father was screaming hysterically when police arrested him and that he was yelling about war.
CPS says there was never any complaint filed about this particular family and therefore, there was no investigation.
Sherill faces first degree murder charges.  He is being held on a million dollar bond and is expected to be back in court next week.
NEIGHBORS OPEN UP ABOUT MURDERED TEEN, CALLING HIM A SWEET, KIND BOY
On Thursday, neighbors lit candles in front of the home where police say the 13-year-old's father murdered him.  Those closest to the family are too distraught to say much about the teen, but said off-camera that David was a sweet, kind boy -- one neighbor told FOX 10 she called him her little buddy.
Many neighbors said they witnessed odd behavior from the father leading up to the murder.
"From what I understand, the father was very possessive and didn't let him get out too far," said West.
Now just feet away from the crime is a memorial to David and a sign reading "Gone but not forgotten."

Drunk Man Eaten by Huge Python

The moral of this story: Don’t get drunk in India, as you will be discovered and eaten by a python.

Some poor guy partied way to hard while he was in India this week and passed out in the street.

Unfortunately for said drunk man, the first to discover his unconscious body was none other than a giant python.

Known for their ability to eat creatures triple their size (and then some), the python wrapped its mouth around the guy and started hoeing down.

This incident occurred in the Attapadi area in the state of Kerala. So a word of advice, best to stay sober if you decide to visit.

This isn't the first time a snake has taken an every day occurrence and turned it into a snack.

Horror Movie Scream Queens brought to you by Playboy

To mark the recent 60th birthday of Playboy magazine, we look back at how many of its models have appeared in horror movies over the decades.
Whilst the often controversial publication likes to convey an image of sophistication and taste, to most of us the Playboy brand is synonymous with unabashed titillation. Small wonder, then, that so many Playmates go on to work in horror movies; while some professions might frown on a prospective employee having posed nude in a magazine, it's a surefire way of getting your foot in the door as a Scream Queen.

No, not every Playmate who went into acting - or, in many cases, side-stepped into nude modeling to boost their acting career - would wind up 'slumming it' in low budget genre fare. There are the oft-cited cases of Kim Basinger and Charlize Theron, for whom Playboy was but a step on their way to superstardom and Oscar success; but it's fair to say they're the exception rather than the rule.
Still, for those of us with a taste for the somewhat distasteful, a great many former Playmates have done admirable work in some thoroughly entertaining, often thoroughly trashy horror movies. Here are some of those most worth remembering.
