Government Confirmation! Legendary Creature Does Exist.... {Video}

     You read that title correctly.  The Government has announced a supposed mythical creature, a legend that has stood the test of time, in fact does indeed exist.

     Ok so its not the U.S. government telling the truth for once.. {like they ever have}

     However if you jet up North to Iceland, there you will get the facts.   So just what are the facts you ask?

     The Icelandic government carried out an investigation by the Fljotsdalsherao municipal council and  has ruled that a legendary sea serpent named Lagarfljotsormurinn {Seriously I could barely type that name.......how the hell am I supposed to pronounce it}, which is rumoured to inhabit Lake Lagarfljot, actually exists.  The commission has ruled that a 2012 video of what is claimed to be Iceland’s most famous lake monster is indeed authentic.

     The Lagarfljótsormur, or ‘Lagarfljót worm’ is an Icelandic lake cryptid which is purported to live in Lagarfljót, a freshwater, glacial-fed lake in Egilsstaðir. The earliest recorded sightings of the Lagarfljótsormur date back to the Icelandic Annals of 1345, and have continued into the 21st century.

     However, sightings increased exponentially after a home video shot in 2012 went viral. The home video shows what looks like a long, serpentine form swimming in the glacial lake in eastern Iceland.

{Oh look we found the video.  Lets take a peak shall we.}

{Ummmmmmmmmm.........  I got nothing!}

     Well anyway the Lagarfljótsormur {seriously my fingers cramp every time I type that name} is typically described as being 90 metres in length {that's 295 friggin feet people!}with many humps, and has also been reported outside the water, lying coiled up or slithering into the trees. In ancient times, sightings were considered to precede a great event such as a natural disaster. {Mothman anyone}

     In 1963, the head of the Icelandic National Forest Service, Sigurður Blöndal, reported seeing the giant worm, and in 1998 a teacher and students at Hallormsstaðir School also claimed to have witnessed the legendary creature.

     In February 2012, the Icelandic national broadcaster, RÚV, published the home video thought to show the Lagarfljót Worm, however, skeptics claimed that the video simply depicts an inanimate object moved by the rapid current.  Undeterred by skeptical explanations, the Fljótsdalshérað municipal council established a 13-person ‘truth commission’ to determine whether the video shot by Hjörtur E. Kjerúlf was authentic. {we're not sold on this video..... to many variables at play}

     The inquiry has just completed its investigation, and has determined that the video is authentic and recommends further investigation and research into the Lagarfljótsormur.
{Someone call our Travel Agent.....I'm serious I have Creature Miles to Cash in Damnit}The commission may have also been somewhat ‘motivated’ by the burst of tourism caused by the 2012 video.  A sightseeing boat named Lagarfljótsormurinn, which operates on the lake, seeks to preserve the traditions of the Lagarfljót Worm for cultural and tourism purposes. {Most locations tied to a legend or haunting do the same thing.... all in good fun, and business sense}

     If the video is authentic, and actually depicts a living creature, it may not be as monstrous as the legends say. Many species of fish have been found which resemble ‘sea monsters’ described in mythological tales, for example, the frilled shark (Chlamydoselachus anguineus), and the giant oarfish (Regalecus glesne). It might just be that a similar species may inhabit Lake Lagarfljot, leading to the development of legendary tales over the centuries.

Life After Death, Proven by Scientists.

As someone who has actually been in that boat, someone who has been on life support with their heart on one table, as I lay on another table with only a machine pumping my blood for hours as they did their best to repair my heart.  It made me think, made me speculate even more on the great beyond..........that next step in our journey as spiritual beings in a physical body.

I even told my beautiful wife  just as I was going under (don't recall much of those 2 days but remember this.....) Honey,.........I'm going to do an experiment during all this.

My attempt was to have an OBE, or Out of Body Experience, to try and hear the conversations while I was under, wonder around and observe existence from a different perspective..

Well, my memory from that traumatic event last summer, is but a blur to me.  It took me months to have any sort of normal memory.  I do not remember several days including the day of the surgery, so alas my experiment failed.

However Scientists have been doing some tests, and this is what they are turning up!

Berlin: A team of psychologists and medical doctors associated with the Technische Universität of Berlin, have announced this morning that they had proven by clinical experimentation, the existence of some form of life after death. This astonishing announcement is based on the conclusions of a study using a new type of medically supervised near-death experiences, that allow patients to be clinically dead for almost 20 minutes before being brought back to life.

This controversial process that was repeated on 944 volunteers over that last four years, necessitates a complex mixture of drugs including epinephrine and dimethyltryptamine, destined to allow the body to survive the state of clinical death and the reanimation process without damage. The body of the subject was then put into a temporary comatic state induced by a mixture of other drugs which had to be filtered by ozone from his blood during the reanimation process 18 minutes later.

The extremely long duration of the experience was only recently made possible by the development of a new cardiopulmonary recitation (CPR) machine called the AutoPulse. This type of equipment has already been used over the last few years, to reanimate people who had been dead for somewhere between 40 minutes to an hour.

Near-death experiences have been hypothesized in various medical journals in the past, as having the characteristics of hallucinations, but Dr. Ackermann and his team, on the contrary, consider them as evidence for the existence of the afterlife and of a form of dualism between mind and body."

The team of scientists led by Dr. Berthold Ackermann, has monitored the operations and have compiled the testimonies of the subjects. Although there are some slight variations from one individual to another, all of the subjects have some memories of their period of clinical death. and a vast majority of them described some very similar sensations.

Most common memories include a feeling of detachment from the body, feelings of levitation, total serenity, security, warmth, the experience of absolute dissolution, and the presence of an overwhelming light.

The scientists say that they are well aware the many of their conclusions could shock a lot of people, like the fact that the religious beliefs of the various subjects seems to have held no incidence at all, on the sensations and experiences that they described at the end of the experiment. Indeed, the volunteers counted in their ranks some members are a variety of Christian churches, Muslims, Jews, Hindus and atheists..

“I know our results could disturb the beliefs of many people” says Mr. Ackermann. “But in a way, we have just answered one of the greatest questions in the history of mankind, so I hope these people will be able to forgive us. Yes, there is life after death and it looks like this applies to everyone.”

Kind of reminds me of a Movie.......

Crows/ Ravens could hold the secret to Understanding Aliens!?

Could crows hold the secret to understanding ALIENS? Bird's exceptional intelligence could help scientists shed light on extraterrestrials' brains
  • Crows have been shown to make strategic decisions, similar to humans
  • They way they think tells us about non-mammalian intelligence
  • The learnings could be applied to the intelligence of alien species
Scientists have long suspected that corvids – the family of birds including ravens, crows and magpies – are highly intelligent.
Now, neurobiologists have demonstrated how the brains of crows produce intelligent behavior when the birds have to make strategic decisions, the same as humans, despite our lack of a common ancestor.
The research could give us an insight into the workings of the mind of a non-mammalian - including extraterrestrial life forms.
Soaring intelligence: The intelligence of crows and other corvids could give us insight into how alien races think

Lena Veit and Professor Andreas Nieder, from Tubingen University in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany, have published a study in Nature Communications that provides valuable and exciting insights into the parallel evolution of intelligent behaviour.
'Many functions are realised differently in birds because a long evolutionary history separates us from these direct descendants of the dinosaurs,' sais Ms Veit.

'This means that bird brains can show us an alternative solution out of how intelligent behaviour is produced with a different anatomy.'
Crows and primates have different brains, but the cells regulating decision-making are very similar. They represent a general principle which has re-emerged throughout the history of evolution.
Not alone? Because crows are non-mammalian, their thought processes give us an insight into the thought processes of other species

'Just as we can draw valid conclusions on aerodynamics from a comparison of the very differently constructed wings of birds and bats, here we are able to draw conclusions about how the brain works by investigating the functional similarities and differences of the relevant brain areas in avian and mammalian brains,' says Professor Andreas Nieder.
Far from being 'bird-brains', crows are so smart behavioral biologists have even called them 'feathered primates' because the birds make and use tools, are able to remember large numbers of feeding sites, and plan their social behavior according to what other members of their group do.
This high level of intelligence might seem surprising because birds’ brains are constructed in a fundamentally different way from those of mammals, including primates – which are usually used to investigate these behaviors.
The Tubingen researchers are the first to investigate the brain physiology of crows’ intelligent behavior. They trained crows to carry out memory tests on a computer.
The crows were shown an image and had to remember it. Shortly afterwards, they had to select one of two test images on a touchscreen with their beaks based on a switching behavioral rules.

NOT BIRD-BRAINED: THE UNCANNY INTELLIGENCE DISPLAYED BY CROWS

They use tools
Crows have been observed using cars as nutcrackers. They drop the nuts into the road and when they are smashed open dive in to eat.
They talk to each other
scientists debate whether or not crows actually have what we call a language, but they do communicate at an advanced level.
They have incredible memories
Crows have been known to change their entire migration pattern to avoid farms where even a single crow has been killed in the past. Generations upon generations later, they still remember specific houses where one measly bird has died.
Crows can remember faces
Scientists in Seattle did an experiment where they tagged crows and released them while wearing masks. The birds became angry when they saw thwe researchers in masks, but left them alone when they were removed.

One of the test images was identical to the first image, the other different. Sometimes the rule of the game was to select the same image, and sometimes it was to select the different one.
The crows were able to carry out both tasks and to switch between them as appropriate.
That demonstrates a high level of concentration and mental flexibility which few animal species can manage – and which is an effort even for humans.
The crows were quickly able to carry out these tasks even when given new sets of images. The researchers observed neuronal activity in the nidopallium caudolaterale, a brain region associated with the highest levels of cognition in birds.
One group of nerve cells responded exclusively when the crows had to choose the same image – while another group of cells always responded when they were operating on the 'different image' rule.
By observing this cell activity, the researchers were often able to predict which rule the crow was following even before it made its choice.
