This is a photo from a non beliver, a hunter who knows the woods... the hills and valleys of Arkansas. .. and its wildlife.
While out hunting on (non disclosed) military installation in Arkansas he happened upon a odd series of events. Leading up to this photo.... as well as tracks being photographed..... we know where but until access is granted cannot share that piece of information.
We do not have all the data in as of yet... but will be forthcoming as soon as we know more details.
It's with a heavy heart we have to announce that the man that was the source of knowledge to the legend of Fouke.. and key contributor to the movie The Legend of Boggy Creek.. Mr. Smokey Crabtree has passed away.

For years I've heard of a legend different than most. Loud wailing cries in the night... unique yet terrifying. Rumored to be a Chimera if you will.. a blending of creatures.
I have personally for many years been following reports of and searching for this elusive Cryptid.
I even aided Syfy channels Haunted Highway TV show when they came to this region.
What were they seeking you ask. The elusive Ozark Howler sometimes referred to as the Black Howler.
A blending of features if you will, that of a bear, a cat, and a goat. With a howl that resembles an elks bugle and that of a howling wolf... hence the Ozark Howler.
Reports range from Arkansas into Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas and even the edge of Tennessee.
New reports today of a sighting suggesting it to be the Howler. But more than just a report... but Photos... and sadly on this app until I reache the office.. you will have to suffer with one photo....
Now the photo in this story.... does not match the reports of the Howler.
And before you professional armchair cryptozoologic experts chime in... the original actual Howler reports predate the supposed internet hoax that is constantly brought up.... how do I know... im 43 and have heard the legend mentioned off and on since I was 10. So since I've been aware of it since 1982 in our close communities it predates AOL and Navigator by quite a few years.
So... what is this elusive creature in the photograph? A baby howler? A Jackalopes cousin?
We're reaching out to the photographer for locations. ... as our treks for Odd never cease....

Hollywood has run out of original content, it's that or the production studios are tired of taking risks on people with no names. So we get mediocre content, or worse... a reboot to a classic that should be left well enough alone.... Seriously we needed to remake Poltergeist?... I think not.

Rare these days are movies with heart, with passion and most of all original content. That is about to change. Recently I met up with the Directors of Something in the Woods as they let us have a sneak peek at their film. I can sum it up in one word... WOW!
A blending of real life reports, great story telling, throw in some action and suspense and you roll it all into a Family Friendly movie...... ABSOLUTELY EPIC!
The plot is inspired by the true story known as The Cowman Of Copalis Beach, about a Bigfoot sighting in the town of Copalis Beach, Washington in the 1960's.
The creature was dubbed "cowman" because the boy who first came across this Sasquatch described him as "hairy and stinky like the cows," as he was caught in a barbed wire fence.
The story follows the Hartman family and their dealings with a legendary creature when it begins coming around their farm house deep in the woods in the late 1960's. The movie follows the frightening and surreal occurrences at the farm that drive a family away from their home.
These occurrences have never been explained and are still talked about by the locals and around the campfire. After these strange and scary things happen at John Hartman's small family farm, there is only one thing to do, stand his ground against something that the rest of the world says doesn't exist... until he realizes that nothing is more important than the safety of his family.
David Ford and Tony Gibson make their directorial debuts with the film along with Stuart Miller Executive producer. David Ford also stars as John Hartman, alongside Angela Harger, Kayden Grisham, Mike L. The Boggy Creek Festival is an annual community event held in Fouke, Arkansas. The purpose of the event is to bring together the local community and to share information about the sasquatch-like creature that has been sighted in the area for over a century. The festival features local arts and crafts, music, entertainment, food vendors, and presentations by some of the top bigfoot researchers and authors in the field.

Everyone loves a good story of the unexplained, heck its the
reason X-files is so popular and getting a reboot of sorts. From Cryptids to Ghosts and UFO's we just love a good mystery.
This past week some bizarre footage turned up showing the captured
images of something Odd in the sky's over Idaho . This will fire up
the conspiracy theorists around the globe to say the least.
In the clip, which was captured by an amateur filmmaker, a huge
bird-like creature flies across the sky over Boise, Idaho.
Its huge wingspan is immediately noticeable as is the
distinctively large backwards-pointing crest, which protrudes from
its skull.
Ken Gerhard author of Big Birds - Modern Sightings of Flying
Monsters voiced his opinion when asked about this most recent
sighting. "At first glance, I thought the subject's movements
seemed a tad unnatural/mechanical. I'm hearing that its an
animatronic model/drone designed by a group in Ohio" He went on
further to state"Of course I've never seen a pterodactyl, but
the back edges of its wings seem unnaturally straight/rigid. And
about the maneuver where it flips upside down? Something unnatural
about that, I think." The unnatural movements we saw in this clip, and that very
nose dive that Ken mentions is what told us we were indeed looking at
a drone. How do we know.... we fly various drones for our filming
purposes. And if you are a novice and accidentally kill the power, OR
you accidentally bump one of the joy sticks. I'VE DONE IT. It will
stall/ fall and do exactly what this thing did until you act swiftly
and recover. Myself personally.......... I've crashed several drones.
The Pterosaur, which means 'winged
lizard', was a flying reptile and the earliest vertebrates known to
have evolved powered flight. They existed 228 to 66 million years ago and contrary to popular
belief were not dinosaurs, but were instead close cousins to the
prehistoric monsters.
We started looking around and here is just one example of Drones on the market ready to fly the friendly skies freaking your neighbors out.

Atoosa, Oklahoma, Some Bigfoot hunters went out trekking for a serious night of Sasquatch searching. One ended up in the hospital and the others in jail instead of the record books.
As they searched for the elusive creature, one man thought he heard barking and shot his friend in the back with a 9mm. In a wild turn of events, the other friends ditched the gun in a local lake and attempted to cover up the crime scene.
Yeah..........that was no accident.
James Perry, Omar Pineda, and his wife, Lacey Pineda, have plenty of time to ponder Bigfoot’s whereabouts from their jail cells.
Police did interview all involved and it was determined that there have been no Sasquatch, Bigfoot or Yeti sightings. YET.
So get out there folks.
Make sure you have the proper licensing before hunting this big guy!
