FBI Releases FOIA Documents on BIGFOOT

Thanks to our idol, John Greenewald over at The Black Vault and his relentless Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Requests who would have know that our Government actually has a file regarding the big man himself.  No not BoBo, but Bigfoot Himself.

Not going to comment at this time,  not until we have time to look over the paperwork, but here it is in all its glory.

Invasion On Chestnut Ridge - {DVD REVIEW}

If you like the odd, the strange and unexplained then this Documentary is the film for you.  Invasion of Chestnut Ridge, the 5^th in the series of films by Seth Breedlove and the Small Town Monster Production team will keep you glued from the opening graphics to the end credits, and if you were a backer on Kickstarter then you get to see your name in the credits as well.

Seth’s storytelling keeps evolving as well as the talents of his crew in cinematography, special effects and animation to the scoring of music, and voice over work.  Each film he produces you can see his passion for retelling lost and forgotten stories that are regional at best in their lore. 

This film covers UFO’s from Keksburg, to cryptids along the ridge in rural Pennsylvania, with detailed research and eye witness interviews in their own words.

You can’t help but love Small Town Monsters approach to storytelling.  And even though I’m a backer of this and the Mothman film, I will be purchasing a physical copy to include into my collection.

I’ve met Seth in Fouke, Arkansas while I was also in the area filming and he is truly a down to earth guy with big dreams that he is chasing down and making happen.  Proof that if you love your job, good things will come with hard work….

NC woman creates spray to attract a Bigfoot. {Bigfoot Juice}

The endless search for proof of Bigfoot's existence may soon come to an end.

A wife and mother from North Carolina, has a home brewed a spray that she says can attract any Bigfoot within a mile and a half.

Sold at $7 bottled spray, the “environmentally friendly” Bigfoot Juice also doubles as a bug spray, said creator Allie Megan Webb, who runs Happy Body Care out of Marion.

“How do you know it works?” Webb asked, laughing. “That’s a tough question. I guess I could ask how do you know it doesn’t work?”

There is anecdotal proof her spray does, in fact, attract a Bigfoot.

Field tests have been done, she said, and they include a recent outing by the research group Bigfoot 911, in which a Bigfoot sighting was reported. It happened the first week of August, in the woods of McDowell County. The report made national news.

“I think that’s enough to say it can attract a Bigfoot,” says Webb. “To attract a Bigfoot, you need a smell that is woodsy enough to keep from scaring him off. But slightly different enough to make him curious, and come to investigate.”

Market reaction to the spray, has been mixed.

Webb — who also created a dog deodorant called Stinky Dog Spray — understands people may doubt the product. She won’t swear there is a Bigfoot herself.

“But I do believe there is something out there in the woods,” she says. “I’m definitely not trying to make fun of people who believe. A lot of people are more serious about this (juice) than I thought. There are people around the world inclined to believe Bigfoot is real.”

That includes her husband, Corey, a member of Bigfoot 911 since 2014. He was out the night of Aug. 4 when Bigfoot 911 reported spotting “a large bipedal animal covered in hair.” Corey didn’t see it himself, but he’s a believer.

Rob Lowe encounters Wood Ape in Ozark Mountains of Arkansas while filming.

Hollywood actor Rob Lowe has claimed that an encounter with legendary beast Bigfoot almost cost him his life.

According to the 53-year-old star, he came face-to-face with the Sasquatch while filming his new paranormal reality series The Lowe Files.

We had an incredible encounter with what locals call the wood ape [Sasquatch]," he said of his alleged brush with the mythical animal, whose existence is yet to be confirmed despite countless supposed sightings.

The Lowe Files docu-series will see the star and his two sons investigate paranormal occurrences, with the encounter with Bigfoot the most disturbing.

"We're 100 miles from the nearest town. We spent 45 minutes on the most rugged, brutal mountain trails. It's one in the morning. There are a lot of serious former military men with loaded weapons, then something starts approaching our camps that is defying their orders to stop and their warnings that [they were] armed."

The Parks and Recreation actor said he was "genuinely terrified" by the run-in with the mythical animal: "I was lying on the ground thinking I was going to be killed."

Lowe admitted that he sounded "like a crazy, Hollywood kook" but refused to say whether viewers will actually get to see the creature on screen.

Sightings of the creature have been reported across America, including in national parks such as Yellowstone and at the American Fork Canyon in Utah.

"I don't want to oversell as a results-oriented show, although we have incredible results," he teased. Although he remained coy about the Bigfoot run-in he insisted that "nothing is staged, nothing is trick-cut — no B.S."

The Lowe Files premieres on Wednesday, 2 August on A&E.

Nice hype build up for a new show........ I'm in the heart of the Ozark Mountains... 100 miles from
the nearest town............seriously dude.... your Production needs to work on viable story lines.

Should be entertaining regardless and in the end............. isn't that what TV shows are for?

Washington State Legislators propose a Cryptid Bill

Washington’s Legislature has adopted more than 20 state symbols, from a state tree to a state folk song and, most recently, a state oyster and a state waterfall. But the state doesn’t have a designated “cryptid,” or cryptozoological creature — meaning an animal not proven to exist, such as Scotland’s Loch Ness Monster.




Nor does state law make a single mention of Sasquatch, also commonly referred to as Bigfoot and sometimes Forest Yeti, even though an organization of bigfoot researchers rank Washington as the national leader in sightings of the legendary being.

Michigan U.P. Bigfoot REVEALED

As always I am out seeking evidence of unknown animals, namely Cryptids.  Most reports are from over active imaginations, faux stories to drum up attention, and then there are those that the witness truly believes what they saw is in fact a Cryptid.  In this particular case the original story circulating hinting that it was indeed a hunched over Bigfoot.

Now as much as I want something to be true, I generally do not jump on a story just to get the traffic to the website.  I start digging, researching, and keeping an open mind.  I am an avid outdoorsman, hunter, fisher and hiker as well as a Legend Hunter.  I know my surroundings, the local wildlife, sounds and thus don't get spooked like some do.  Some researchers only read online then go out in the woods once or twice a month for a few hours, or a couple of times a year.  So some, not all get a tad over excited in claims of activity...... I've been out with several that claim the MoneyMaker idiology... it must be a Sasquatch.

That being said this particular story caught my eye, as it shows an unusual photo from a game cam in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  It has the coloring of a bear, the size of a bear in relation to the 55 gal drum, the industry standard of a drum is 22-1/2 inches diameter X 33-1/2" inches long.  And the responses from so many forums and Facebook pages tickled me.  So many arguing for and against what it is supposed to be and their supporting arguments.  In this field of research scientific methodology over rules wants and wishes.  If your claims can not stand to the scientific method than the entire claim is ruled null and void.








Now I stated on several pages publicly it was a bear..... its very apparent to me... I have a mother bear and cubs within a mile of my house.  I know the movements, the looks. and for Pete's sake why would a 8 foot tall or taller Hominid be all hunched over running and look so small?


Simple walking bear here versus one running or changing directions because it was scared off.

Well another photo has appeared from the same game camera with a delay of 13 minutes, showing this bear here.  Now some argue due to the time difference Bigfoot could have left and a bear could have wondered in............... Occam's Razor folks. "a scientific and philosophic rule that entities should not be multiplied unnecessarily which is interpreted as requiring that the simplest of competing theories be preferred to the more complex or that explanations of unknown phenomena be sought first in terms of known quantities"

Now its been pointed out to me, well look at its leg, the angle the arc of the back.  Has noone seen a bear run?




I'm submitting a few photos for observance and discussion.  Bears in various states of run, changing of direction, sizes.  

I'm sorry to shoot down the theory of its a Bigfoot, but i'm here for observation, not blind followings leading the blind. 


 I apply this same technique in Haunting's and UFO research.  The general public already look at us as freaks, and kook's why would we add to that ridicule.




Do cryptids exist?......... I think its Possible.  Do I think evidence exists to prove this.....  Not yet or we would have seen it.

This is what happens when you get to close to a bear and her cubs.  One particular after noon here in Arkansas my wife (at the time) and oldest daughter (4 at the time) rode the 4 wheeler down the hill from our house... right then a bear ran between them and me and into the woods... in the direction they were going on the 4 wheeler.  I ran full sprint into the woods and cleared the fence with ease (now at this age.... would never happen).  When i landed on the other side i heard the bear,...... then i heard the cub.  I immediately crawled slowly back over the fence.  One thing you never ever do, it doesn't matter how cute they are if you see a cub..... never ever get between a momma bear and her cubs.  EVER!!

Something in the Woods - Movie REVIEW

     Hollywood has run out of original content, it's that or the production studios are tired of taking risks on people with no names.  So we get mediocre content, or worse... a reboot to a classic that should be left well enough alone.... Seriously we needed to remake Poltergeist?... I think not.

That is.....UNTIL NOW! Along comes Something in the Woods.  Thank goodness for Indie Film Makers!

     Rare these days are movies with heart, with passion and most of all original content.  That is about to change.  Recently I met up with the Directors of Something in the Woods as they let us have a sneak peek at their film. I can sum it up in one word... WOW!

     A blending of real life reports, great story telling, throw in some action and suspense and you roll it all into a Family Friendly movie...... ABSOLUTELY EPIC!

     The plot is inspired by the true story known as The Cowman Of Copalis Beach, about a Bigfoot sighting in the town of Copalis Beach, Washington in the 1960's.


     The creature was dubbed "cowman" because the boy who first came across this Sasquatch described him as "hairy and stinky like the cows," as he was caught in a barbed wire fence.

The story follows the Hartman family and their dealings with a legendary creature when it begins coming around their farm house deep in the woods in the late 1960's. The movie follows the frightening and surreal occurrences at the farm that drive a family away from their home.



 
 These occurrences have never been explained and are still talked about by the locals and around the campfire. After these strange and scary things happen at John Hartman's small family farm, there is only one thing to do, stand his ground against something that the rest of the world says doesn't exist... until he realizes that nothing is more important than the safety of his family.




David Ford and Tony Gibson make their directorial debuts with the film along with Stuart Miller Executive producer.  David Ford also stars as John Hartman, alongside Angela Harger, Kayden Grisham, Mike L. Hall, Jon Bonzor, Terry Milam, Stuart Miller, Ray Watters, Dashiell Smith, Travis Driver,Tony Gibson, John Jones and Anthony Powell.

Bigfoot Hunter Shot in Back

Atoosa, Oklahoma, Some Bigfoot hunters went out trekking for a serious night of Sasquatch searching. One ended up in the hospital and the others in jail instead of the record books.

As they searched for the elusive creature, one man thought he heard barking and shot his friend in the back with a 9mm. In a wild turn of events, the other friends ditched the gun in a local lake and attempted to cover up the crime scene.

Yeah..........that was no accident.




James Perry, Omar Pineda, and his wife, Lacey Pineda, have plenty of time to ponder Bigfoot’s whereabouts from their jail cells.

Police did interview all involved and it was determined that there have been no Sasquatch, Bigfoot or Yeti sightings. YET. 

So get out there folks.

Make sure you have the proper licensing before hunting this big guy!

Finding Bigfoot and Animal Planet in The Ozarks

Recently we were contacted by production at Animal Planet as the show Finding Bigfoot was going to be here filming in our area.  So we popped on up to Branson, MO to one of the theaters (secret location) and met up with the cast and crew.

We sat in for the Town Hall Meeting, talked with the camera crew and producers.  Did you know for every Minute of film you see on TV they actually record an HOUR?  One hour produces One minute, that is insane.......or so I thought.



We are currently traveling and doing our own Documentary on various WILD topics.... oh so much hits the cutting room floor...... wait we're using digital media... I digress.





We talked with about 100 people after filming and gathered stories for our own projects, while the producers were filtering through the some 16 stories told to them on camera for them to pick 2 to use.  Due to confidentiality agreements I can't discuss what was told their that night until the show actually airs. Projected for sometime in September 2015.

Then we went head to head with the Stars of the Show, quizzing them, getting autographs and they even chatted with our own big guy AskSquatch.  His video is coming soon answering their own questions that only the big guy can do.




Total time on set and with the crew was roughly 6 hours.  I had worked a full day prior and hauled ass to the location so when I got home...... it was morning and I was ready for bed for sure.






So far I've dealt with many networks and shows behind the scenes.  I do believe to date, I enjoyed this one the most.   Down to earth people, and Ranae desperately seeking some GOOD coffee. Matt running all his pens out of ink, Cliff making me feel normal in height, and BoBo definetly making me feel short!

It was a pleasure to say the least and look forward to some future work with these guys.
