Rob Lowe encounters Wood Ape in Ozark Mountains of Arkansas while filming.

Hollywood actor Rob Lowe has claimed that an encounter with legendary beast Bigfoot almost cost him his life.

According to the 53-year-old star, he came face-to-face with the Sasquatch while filming his new paranormal reality series The Lowe Files.

We had an incredible encounter with what locals call the wood ape [Sasquatch]," he said of his alleged brush with the mythical animal, whose existence is yet to be confirmed despite countless supposed sightings.

The Lowe Files docu-series will see the star and his two sons investigate paranormal occurrences, with the encounter with Bigfoot the most disturbing.

"We're 100 miles from the nearest town. We spent 45 minutes on the most rugged, brutal mountain trails. It's one in the morning. There are a lot of serious former military men with loaded weapons, then something starts approaching our camps that is defying their orders to stop and their warnings that [they were] armed."

The Parks and Recreation actor said he was "genuinely terrified" by the run-in with the mythical animal: "I was lying on the ground thinking I was going to be killed."

Lowe admitted that he sounded "like a crazy, Hollywood kook" but refused to say whether viewers will actually get to see the creature on screen.

Sightings of the creature have been reported across America, including in national parks such as Yellowstone and at the American Fork Canyon in Utah.

"I don't want to oversell as a results-oriented show, although we have incredible results," he teased. Although he remained coy about the Bigfoot run-in he insisted that "nothing is staged, nothing is trick-cut — no B.S."

The Lowe Files premieres on Wednesday, 2 August on A&E.

Nice hype build up for a new show........ I'm in the heart of the Ozark Mountains... 100 miles from
the nearest town............seriously dude.... your Production needs to work on viable story lines.

Should be entertaining regardless and in the end............. isn't that what TV shows are for?

Family of Bigfoot Reported in Snow, Arkansas

Well this caught my attention!  This is literally in the back yard of ParaPalooza country... ok ok its like 30 minutes away.  But one I can personally follow up on and get some truth from.  As most reports are just HYPE.  I ........am not getting my hopes up.

Because well.......its a WET County now days, and there are some locals that.... to be politically correct........ Just aren't right in the head.  But I do my research with an open mind.  And I expect nothing but a good time outdoors, its why I love this area.  Nature is Peaceful and much needed.

The report is on Bigfoot Research Organization BFRO.Net is as follows.

This one is an unbelievable report. Seeing one Bigfoot is rare enough, but to see 3 at the same time is quite remarkable. While driving near the town Snow Arkansas, one man reportedly spotted a "family unit":

Night, dark clear, road traffic was light. I was traveling west bound, headlight on bright. Three creatures, two were adults and a young one. I saw them traveling from left to right, the adults were near the yellow line in the hwy, the smaller one was about three steps behind the large ones. The two large one went right over the fence to my left with very little extra effort, like a large high stride. the smaller one, use the right hand on the fence post and jumped the fence. I was about 5 car lengths away from the smaller one.

According to the BFRO person, this former military person was very descriptive about the creatures:

Spoke with witness twice via phone. Former military and quite precise in recollection. It was a matter of fact recounting of events. Everyone knows they are around these parts, just not spoken about in public. His feeling was that he saw a family unit. Male, female, and juvenile. The male, and lead creature, was a dirty brown color. The second or "female, less masculine" one was in the middle, and juvenile was last. Male was estimated to be no less than 6.5-7 ft. tall. Very bulky and super wide at shoulders. The second one was just smaller overall and he just felt it was "feminine" due to lack of bulk and overall size difference. Juvenile seemed to be 4-5 ft tall. They were "walking with purpose" as though they had a set destination in mind. They did not look back at him, nor hurry their gait just because he was there. The entire event was between 5-8 seconds. It was a 2 lane highway, at least 20 feet from shoulder to shoulder, and the male crossed the road easily in 4-5 steps. He went back and stepped it off at a later time and he had trouble coming close to that stride without maybe pulling a muscle. I have no reason to doubt this witness.

If someone will contact me from BFRO I can actually go to the exact spot!  .......so ahhh someone point this snoop in the right direction please.

Catch a Glimpse of the Fouke Monster at the Boggy Creek Festival

The 2nd Annual Boggy Creek Festival will be Oct 24-25, 2014. A special meet n’ greet get-together will be hosted on Friday Oct 24 (location TBA), while the main event will happen along Fouke’s main strip just off Highway 71 and Main Street. (Just come to Fouke and you can’t miss it.

CAMPING:
The Miller County Fairgrounds, located at East Red Cut Road, will be available for camping in tents or campers. (More details coming soon

BOGGY CREEK TOURS:
Bus tours will be available for purchase. The tours, guided by Beast of Boggy Creek author Lyle Blackburn, will visit historical sites in the Fouke area which pertain to The Legend of Boggy Creek movie and sightings of the Fouke Monster. The tour includes a stop at the infamous Boggy Creek, where participants can take photos near the waterway.

BIGFOOT SPEAKERS:
Regional bigfoot researchers, authors, and television personalities will be doing presentations in the Community Center. Speakers will include Lyle Blackburn, Ken Gerhard, Larry Parks, Robert Swain, Jim Whitehead, and more.

     The Arkansas Paranormal Expo is a benefit supporting the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History.  The Tower Building which was built in 1840, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is the birthplace of General Douglas MacArthur. It is our mission to raise funds to help preserve this beautiful, historic building.
